It is no secret that Australia has a housing crisis. New ideas as to how to solve the crisis abound, although it is not clear that governments are yet committed to action to alleviate the plight of the many who are homeless and to make home ownership achievable for all or most Australians. Join us to discuss a new book which offers hope for the future.

Peter Mares is an independent writer and researcher. He is a contributing editor for online magazine Inside Story and a senior moderator with The Cranlana Programme. Peter was a broadcaster with the ABC for twenty-five years and is the author of a number of books and articles on migration and refugees.
