Dear FECCA friends,
We are excited to bring you a free lunchtime webinar with a panel discussion.
In the spirit of this year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, ‘#InThisTogether’, we are partnering with Australia at Home and SBS to host a conversation around what reconciliation looks like between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and multicultural communities around Australia.
The panellists for this discussion will be:
- Karen Mundine, CEO – Reconciliation Australia
- Senator Patrick Dodson, Shadow Assistant Minister for Reconciliation and Constitutional Recognition of Indigenous Australians
- Shahnoor Shah, FECCA
- Anton Enus , SBS (moderator)
They will talk through the particular challenges and opportunities in these different communities coming together to acknowledge Australia’s true history and create a shared future based on self-determination and respect for diversity.
Date: Monday, June 1, 2020
Time: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM AEST
To register: Go to https://bit.ly/2yHPUiM.
We hope to see you next Monday.
